KISS ME ONCE | KYLIE MINOGUE – REVIEW

I should be so lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky – I got to see princess of pop Kylie Minogue at Qantas Union Arena in Sydney on Friday March 20th for her ‘Kiss Me Once Tour’.

Only Kylie Minogue would open the show lying on a lit up lips, singing her catchy song ‘Les Sex’ from her album ‘Kiss Me Once’ followed by hits In my arms, Timebomb and Wow. She turned the arena into a huge disco, with beams, flashing lights and a massive screen which had played video’s throughout the entire show.

Legendary godfather of electronic music Giorgio Moroder joined Kylie on stage for ‘Right here, right now’ their latest collaboration. The song is very dance/pop with Kylie belting out with her amazing powerful vocals. Minogue surprised the audience with a tribute to Michael Hutchence from INXS, covering ‘Need You Tonight’, the performance was incredible.

‘Chasing Ghosts’ the song from Kylie + Garibay ‘Sleepwalker’ EP appeared in the show. The reggae dance pop song featured in a interlude with a video shown of the big screen of Kylie dancing around in leather.

Kylie hopped in a bubble bath dressed in hot pink singing her 80’s hit ‘I should be so lucky’. Later she rocked out singing ‘Kids’ the Robbie Williams duet, in black leather. Kylie’s outfits throughout the show were very cool, leather, lace, sparkly and hot pink and Kylie looked stunning.

Overall the show amazing, interactive and certainly didn’t disappoint!
